My feet and ankles were in pain all the time and it was progressively getting worse. My wife had been on me to get a good pair of sneakers to help try correct the problem. We went to the Newbalance store in NJ off of route 38 what a great place. The man who took care of me (Cliff) was great. He sized me right up and the moment he put those 927 on my feet it was instant relief. My feet and ankles feel incredible it was great. Not only did I buy a pair but my wife also bought a pair of running sneakes. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the 927 that I bought. Dont waste your time going to the mall sneaker stores or those so called walking shoe stores they are a joke.

Have worn 926's for past 2 years for both walking and a black pair for work. I loved them. I even wore the black ones at my daughter's wedding reception w/ my tux, quickly changing out of my tux shoes to the 926's after the ceremony . I lost 70 lbs. last year through walking 2 miles per day and eating healthy. My 926's were a big part of that. I purchased a new pair of the 927's for walking about 3 months ago and have been greatly disappointed. I believe the 927's roolbar is too long, it that in now extends to the the middle of the sole. 926 had more cushioning in the mid sole and more flexibility. I wear half sole orthodics and find them much more comfortable w/ the 926. Again I think it has to do w/ tthe new design of the rollbar. Fortunately, I kept my walking 926's for mowing the lawn. I reverted back to wearing them today for walking and feel much better. Please keep making the 926's. Thanks

I have extraordinarily wide feet with a high instep. Have always had trouble finding shoes that fit. The 927s are very comfortable and the width availability in 6E was most welcome. My feet no longer get sore like they used to. Walking is a pleasure, fit is very good. Styling is a little bland, but with a 6E width, it seems like there is no choice but to sacrifice style for fit. I do wish NB would consider making some of their more popular shoes in a 6E width.

I have a 926 and they tire my ankles by the end of an 8 hour day on the work floor.. They are just too heavy for my frame and ankles and if I wear them for an extended period, my ankles ache. Just wanted to share this information with you. I just bought the 845's and just love them as they are lightweight, sturdy and very comfortable. Like walking on air. They replace the 843 model I have worn happily these past two years. Thank you New Balance for always updating features in your shoes to make them even more comfortable than the model number it replaces!!

Bought first pair (926's) Spring 2007. Had been visiting podiatrist regularly to trim callouses, but since I began wearing these shors only 2 visits to podiatrist. Used shoes in Italy; walked extensively. Bought second pair; walked extensively on visit to Manhattan. Very pleased and will buy another pair soon.
