I don't know what happened to my pair of shoes but this was the most uncomfortable pair of running shoes that I have ever owned. It was like running barefoot on gravel. I think that they must have left the cush out of this pair of shoes.
This is quite a mystery and we are sorry the shoe was so uncomfortable. Our 1064 features some of the best cushioning in the shoe industry, which tells us that we definitely need to chat directly. Let's figure this out and learn more about what has worked well for you in the past.

This model was recommended to me, along with the sport performance insoles, by the associate at a NB store. I had no intentions of running any races, but knew I needed something more comfortable to make my gym classes and walking more enjoyable. These shoes virtually eliminated any previous discomfort I had due to Morton's toe and neuroma and I went from being a gym/walking newbie to a 5k speed walker in 6 weeks! The thought of running races doesn't scare me any more - I am actually looking forward to it for once in my life. Great shoes!

I bought these shoes because I kept wearing a hole into every pair of Asics Gel-Nimbus shoes I bought. These shoes had the banding where the big toe would normally wear a hole, so I figured I'd give it a try. These shoes don't feel as light as my old Gel-Nimbus shoes, but they are comfortable and have held up pretty well throughout my runs. I just noticed that the bottom of my shoes are starting to get worn out, I'm going to get new shoes, and I'm 99% sure I'm going to get another pair of 1064s. They haven't steered me wrong yet.

I'm purchased these shoes as an alternate to my regular running shoes. These shoes are lighter and just as comfortable (if not more so). I have an old knee injury that is not irritated by the 1064's. Will definitely buy again when I wear these out. They're so great, I'm considering demoting my Saucony's to "alternate" and using these as my primary shoes.
