WR1225

The 1225 (womens) shoes were suggested by my local running store, as I had filled my old NB shoes with all sorts of orthodic items and insoles to help my feet. They fit great, and give nice support around the mid heel/ankle area. Definitely help with underpronation without feeling as though you are wearing braces on your legs. I purchased a second pair within a week. By the way, the insole provided is comfortable and works well with the shoe...I bought a pair of Spenco insoles just in case, but didn't need them.

Very comfortable, especially in the foot area. My knees and back do not hurt once I am done running, which is a blessing since I have had surgery on both knees.

I have been wearing the 1224s for a few years now. I teach high intensity group fitness classes and rely on the stability features in this shoe to help correct my tendency to overpronate. I fully expected the 1225 to be the same, if not better. However, the 1225 doesn't fit quite right. It seems to have a narrower toe box in relation to the rest of the shoe, which pinches my toes (the ball of my foot sometimes goes numb now) but allows my heel to slip out. This is a serious problem that aggravates the tendons in my foot and ankle. I am ordering several of the 1224s while I still can and hoping the next version of this shoe corrects the proportion problem. Will the next version go back to the shape of the 1224s? They were so great because there was plenty of room in the forefoot and they cupped my heel and ankle just right. I wish the 1225s did the same.

these are the best shoes in the entire world-hands down. i have serious injuries, and could not walk. i purchased these shoes on a recommendation from my physio-therapist. they have changed my life. they are SO comfortable, fit perfectly, and have flexible toe area. i can fully extend/spread my toes-no restrictions while still having FULL support-especially in the ankle.furthermore,they are breathable, light and feel like i'm walking on clouds of pillowy softness.i over pronate, and this has resolved with these shoes.the pain i used to feel in my arch and heel is gone.

For some reason, this shoe hurts my feet. I never had this problem with the 769s that I love but can no longer get. It seems that there is less cushion mid sole than the 769 or other stability shoes I've had. I like the shoe but it doesnt like my feet.
