WW1442

I LOVE the Rock & Tone 1442 by New Balance! These have to be the most comfortable shoes that New Balance has ever made! I love how light weight they are and they don't make you look like Bigfoot like some of the other toning shoes that are available. I am always on my feet for work. No more aching back or sore feet after a full day of work! These shoes are 5 stars in my book! I can't wait until NB starts other versions of the Rock & Tone shoe!

I have several pairs of New Balance sneakers and I do love them all. The 1442 are great and I have definitely felt the difference in my legs while walking. Any chance they might be made with extra support for those of us with plantar fasciitis? I find that I have to alternate the 1442 with my 769 so I do not have a flair. But

I have worn only NB walkers for many years and was excited to try the new Rock&Tone. My or4der arrived 2 days before we left for Washington DC area for a week of sightseeing. I wore my new Rock&Tone's on alternating days, including 2 days when my pedometer registered over 7 miles for the day. A great walk, a great workout, and no discomfort! I do wish that the toe box were a little broader...otherwise they are very true to size.

I have a wide,square, forefoot & narrow heel. I'm usually happy with a size 11B with the exception of a few of the lasts which are designed for a narrow forefoot.This shoe, which I ordered in 11B, seems too narrow & a bit short as well.I was once talked in to buying a pair of New Balance Trail Runners which were too small, because the salesperson told me that trailrunners are designed to have a snug fit.They had gotten too dirty on the trail for me to return them by the time I figured out the size was tagged incorrectly/ran small.Because of my previous experience & the fact these feel tight, I would be cautious if you think these shoes will "break in" - if you think they are a bit snug.Otherwise, they feel great.However, I've owned custom-fitted Swedish clogs which work on the "rocker" theory.I could definitely feel my legs working in the rocking clogs,- but, not quite as much in these. However, I could see myself dong more walking in these shoes, since the clogs are so hard/firm they get uncomfortable.

I bought two pairs of the Rock 'n Tones, one for my wife and one for a friend. They walk 2-4 miles a day together, now wearing the 1442s. They couldn't believe how much work the backs of their legs got from wearing them. The fit for both is perfect, no worries about blisters, and once they got used to the slight difference in walking with them, they loved them. They tell all their friends about them and highly recommend them to everyone.
