TWO WXY V2

TWO WXY v2 – Chalkboard
Inspired by future generations of aspiring athletes, the newest TWO WXY v2 colorway stresses the knowledge, discipline, and hard work necessary to execute what’s shown on the board, whether it’s a high school chalkboard or a primetime playbook.

Classic contrast
With the exception of the translucent blue ABZORB SBS outsole, the otherwise monochromatic colorway is outlined by a synthetic white collar, accented with a white-speckled black midsole and finished off with a black tongue and signature TWO WXY smile logo.

Behind the design
“Working with the New Balance Sports Research Lab, we dove into an archival material known as SBS, which allowed us to create a new system that helped us tune our best FuelCell foams for basketball specific movement, ABZORB DRS. A combination of energy return and cushioning technology designed for sudden accelerations, stops, pivots, and high impact landings, the shoe was built to handle the physical demands of true, positionless play." – Chad Marianelli, Senior Designer, Field of Play
