"Great shoe if you are looking for a light, form fitting shoe. The construction of the shoe wraps around your foot nicely and feels great at all speeds and during incline/descent. The shoe promotes a natural running posture, while adding stability as your legs tire. I find the shoe comfortable through half marathon distance, but have not tried it on longer runs."

"When I heard NB discontinued the 890 I tried the Vazee Pace and Rush. Neither provided the mid-foot or heel cushion of the 890. I looked through Runner's World shoe reviews and found the 1500 having the most cushioning of the current crop. It is the closest I have found to the 890s I ran in for years."

"After lots of research, I narrowed my search to these and the Hoka One One Tracers. I considered the Sketcher GoMeb3, Adidas Adizero 3, Nike Lunar Racer 3+ and a few others. I tried the Hokas and these on a track. Both felt fast and nice. The 1500v2 felt slightly more responsive and faster (and I mean only slightly) but a lot more comfortable, like a glove on my foot. So, I go the 1500v2 and love them. They are light, responsive, fast and comfortable. One note for fellow triathletes - I felt the shoes were impossible to get into when I first got them. I was a bit nervous about how I was going to put the shoe on quickly in T2. However, I have used them for 3 track workouts and 2 10Ks and they are easy to put on quickly. So, as long as you run 25 miles or so in them before your first triathlon, they will be quick to put on in transition."

"My feet are on the small/narrow side of the spectrum and find these shoes give the perfect amount of room in the toe box - little more than the zantes, little less than the vazee paces. I put ~15 miles into a fresh pair before running the LA Marathon last weekend (3:27) and thought they breathed well and were very supportive the entire 26.2. Im a neutral footed runner and Ive seen some websites advertise the T-bar as being for people who over pronate, but didn't have any problems. The tread has shown some wear after the ~40miles I've put into them, but its a racing flat so thats to be expected. Before I ran a couple races in Nike Air Zoom Streak 5's and have ran a great deal in New Balance 1400v3s, but these are my favorite... Im 5'9, 140 lbs, neutral mid foot strike, and typically pace ~6:30 - 7:30 min/mile. Hope this helps."
