I've had my old minimus for almost 7 years and it was time for a new one. Well, the old one had almost no sole and a hole on top! I wasn't sure about this one because of the mixed reviews. I ordered my normal size 7.5 and it fitted great on my right foot, but was too small on left due to a long toe I have! So I ordered a size 8 ( same size my old minimus) and it fits well. I run, crossfit and wear to work. It's so comfortable. My husband has the same model read more

I'm 50 years old and been running since my high school track and cross country days. I haven't developed any knee, hip or ankle discomfort. When I turned 50 I decided not to run on any hard surfaces (roads - asphalt or concrete) if all possible. Not trying to embarrass myself but my feet are small enough that I have to wear women's shoes. This explains why I mention the WTs. I was in a local shoe store and tried on a NB trail shoe and fell in love with the read more

I have been wearing the Minimus shoe for years for Crossfit. The redesigned shoe tongue is uncomfortable and it has a wider feeling toe box. The overall new shoe design rubs the ankles. The previous minimus model 10v3 fit much better.

I had the 10v3 and was skeptical to try the new version. To my surprise, they are excellent. The 10v3 introduced me to minimalist shoes for running and now that is the only type of shoes I can run in without experiencing discomfort or pain. The 10v3 had just the right amount of cushion and, i thought, good toe box; however, when I received the 10v4, I fell in love with them immediately. The cushioning is even better and toe box is slightly wider. I absolutely read more

no prior experience with NB minimus shoes, but I love the absolute comfort of these shoes running on dirt or pavement. Both resilient and responsive feel with good connection to the terrain. Let you get off to a fast sprint like I have a turbo boost, but let me run for miles without any chafing or discomfort. I will say that I wear these with an extra foam insert (from my brooks which I no longer wear). I love these so much that I got 2 extra pairs, sad to see them go obsolete already...

I love all of the minimus shoes and have bought many pairs. And I really love my trail shoes. I just really wish they were the colors of the trail! Please make them in earth tones!

Very uncomfortable. Been wearing the 10v3's for the past 4 years and have absolutely loved them. I was disappointed when I saw that the 10v3's were gone so I thought these might be a good replacement. The tongue is different on these shoes and it causes the sides to dig into my ankles. No good. I wish they would bring back the 10v3's! They were the BEST!

Big disappointment

This shoe is too soft and spongy. It absorbs water like crazy. It is too loose and wide even for my wide foot. The tongue wrinkles and does not sit tight. The previous version of this shoe (10v3) was much better. I have worn NB for years but will have to quit if you don't go back to what was a great shoe.

You made a great product in the 20V4 Trainer -- then you created multiple different shoes that NOT ONE matches the template -- the 20v4 was a great shoe for training/weightlifting and general wear.
