Tricky terrain is no match for the New Balance 110v2 trail running shoe. Featuring a new HHR rubber compound outsole for maximum grip and ROCK STOP® technology that helps protect your forefoot from debris, this men’s shoe offers a reliable ride over rock, dirt and more. And to keep your feet comfortable across rugged ground, the 110 is outfitted with full-length REVlite cushioning that’s 30% lighter than our standard foams. The fit is even better, too: simplified but more secure based on feedback from world-class trail runners.

The 110 has lost it's way

"The previous 110 was a low to the ground, nimble machine that fit the foot great with it's wide toe-box and foot-like shape. Unfortunately, all of that has been lost. // Pros: -Re-designed upper is more durable and still breathes well. -The outsole is aggressive enough for mountain outings but still holds its own on the local single-track. -Rev-lite midsole is pretty nice. // Cons: -Tapered, narrow toe-box does not allow for any toe splay. -Narrow underfoot leaving you with little confidence going into hard corners. It feels like it wants to roll possibly due to the high stack of the outsole and narrow nature of the fit. -Sizing seems to be a miss. A 9 was way too tight and 9.5 was too sloppy in the heel."
