    The sizing has changed dramatically

    4/1/16 by | NYC

    • Used Product For: less than 2 weeks

"I have been wearing NB for 20 years. Always got the same size, regardless of which one I bought. Lately, including this shoe, my traditional size (9EE) just doesn't fit anymore. I thought maybe it was my foot changing, but I'm a 9W in other brands (Nike, Addias, etc). It's too bad. A 9EE is too narrow and too short. Love the shoe itself, but they just don't fit."

Good aesthetics, poor execution for a wide width model

4/1/16 by | Brooklyn, NY, USA

"I ordered this particular sneaker because it was available in a wide width, and stylistically it looked more like a fashion sneaker than the clunky, boxy and frankly orthopedic style of the 608, 609 and 857 models. I also own a pair of the 103 Minimus style, which is a similar shaping, but with less shock absorption. This shoe has a roomy toe box without too much depth at the toes, tapering the appearance, and a very supportive heel, with a good balance of cushion in the sole without too much heaviness. The problems come at the mid-arch. First off, the inside of the shoe whittles into a very narrow foot bed, which then creates a cramped feeling as it comes up the sides; something that should have been made wider with the wider width last. It's quite uncomfortable there as it forces the sole of the foot into a pinch in the arch. Also, they stitched the tongue in place approximately 3 eyelets down, meaning if you need more depth in the shoe, you're out of luck. This wasn't a feature of the Minimus, so you can open the laces as much as necessary to add depth. On this shoe, you are stuck to the amount of give in the mesh fabric as it's stitched in place. Not a feature welcome in a wide shoe. Finally, the back heel cup is so mushy as to crush every single time I put my foot into the shoe, and since I can't pull the tongue up higher, I can't make more room to slide in. Since it crushed down the very first time, it's been difficult every time since and involves a bit of struggle to make it flat against my heel. Not an ideal shoe, other than the looks and the reliability of the name brand for durability."

    Look Good, but don't Perform

    3/31/16 by | Georgia, USA

    • Used Product For: less than 2 weeks
    • Miles with Product: 0-5 miles
    • Avg Miles Per Week: 0-5 miles

"The reason why I am writing a poor review for this shoe is because the first time I wore them jogging, the soles began to slide behind my heels. It was extremely annoying and uncomfortable. I tried to adjust the tightness around the bridge of my foot thinking it would stop the slide, but it didn't. Additionally, the laces are a little too far up on the heel, and if tied casually, they may cut off circulation around the ankle. The other Vazees are a better selection to the Paces in my humble opinion."

    NB has outdone itself

3/30/16 by | southern New Jersey

    Yes, I recommend this product.

"I have been wearing NB for about 20 yrs and this is the best model shoe yet! The fit is awesome. Toe box is spacious. Somehow they found a way that the tongue of the shoe does not slip to the side which always annoyed me. I buy a running shoe even though I cross train and this shoe is great for both. At 7.3 ounces it is amazing the support and overall comfort. Would definitely buy again and recommend."
