Individually, neutral-colored minimalism and an intimate performance space are not brand-new concepts. In the hands of Berlin-based music platform COLORS, however, these existing elements have been utilized to reimagine how to introduce and showcase emerging artists in the vast sea of content that is social media. The COLORS concept places the artist alone, on stage, set against a neutral-colored backdrop. This singular focus on the music has established COLORS as one of the most influential performance spaces in the world. Fittingly, for their first ever collaborative project with New Balance, COLORS have applied their refined minimalist aesthetic to a silhouette defined by reimagination, the 327. The stylized angles and exaggerated details of the 327 are outfitted in black with contrast white stitching, and speckled midsole accents / understated cream and a classic gum sole. Subtle lace details – tips, lace stopper, and lace keeper, feature hints of red, for a subtle flash of color.
